A Russian Su-35 fighter jet crashed on March 28 near occupied Sevastopol, the Russia-installed governor of Ukraine's Crimea Peninsula said. "A military plane fell into the sea.... Civilian objects were not damaged,” Mikhail Razvozhayev said on Telegram. The pilot ejected and was picked up by rescuers about 200 meters from the shore, Razvozhayev said, adding that his life was not in danger.
