WATCH: Chaos Inside St. Petersburg Metro Following Blast
Here's a translation of a Facebook post by exiled former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky:
“It’s probable that this is the largest terrorist attack in the ‘Northern capital’ in all of Russia’s recent history. As to the fact that it’s a terrorist attack, there is no doubt. The signature of terrorists, no matter what their intentions, is always the same.
“We all have many questions, and we should all absolutely discuss them. But that is for tomorrow.
“Today we are all in the same boat, regardless of our appearances, our ranks, our age. Russia, this is our home. And in our home, there is grief. Therefore today is the single day when we should be together, we should unite, we should forget who is in the National Liberation Movement [a radical pro-Kremlin group], and who is in the opposition; who is traveling from work by Metro, and who is [traveling] with flashing blue lights on their car roofs; who is going to political protests, and who is guarding them. Today this has no meaning. What has meaning is that we are all together. And we will be as one nation in the face of any adversity.
“Today Muscovites are bringing flowers and candles to the walls of the Alexandrovsky Garden, where the monument to the heroic war defenders of Leningrad is. Today our country is one.”
And now REN TV has another photo of the alleged perpetrator hanging around outside the metro, looking at his phone after the bombing.

Moscow Times' Katie Davies writes on Twitter that Muscovites are gathering at Manezh Square with flowers to honor victims of the bombing.
RFE/RL's Russian Service reports three days of mourning will be observed in St. Petersburg following the subway blast earlier in the day in the city.
