Adam Schiff Opens Trump Impeachment Hearings

Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, formally opened the first public hearings into the impeachment inquiry into U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington on November 13. Schiff said the inquiry would consider whether Trump had abused his power by pressuring Ukraine to conduct "political investigations that would help his reelection campaign."
