Russia, Ukraine Free 214 Prisoners In Latest Exchange

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged 214 captured soldiers in the latest prisoner swap, the two sides said. Many of the Ukrainians released on November 3 were wounded survivors of a failed attempt to defend the city of Mariupol in April and May. Russia's Defense Ministry said in a statement that Ukraine had released 107 Russian personnel, while Andriy Yermak, the Ukrainian president's chief of staff, said Russia had released 107 Ukrainian fighters, including 74 who had defended the Azovstal steel works, scene of Ukraine's last stand in Mariupol.
