Ukraine's power generating company, Enerhoatom, said on April 4 that one of the two power lines at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which has been under the control of Russia's occupying forces since March 2022, was disconnected from the grid amid intensive Russian shelling. The Russia-installed administration of the plant confirmed that the line was disconnected but provided no details. Last month, Enerhoatom said the nuclear power plant had had eight full blackouts and one partial one since Russia took control of the plant after launching its full-scale invasion in February 2022.
