The United Nations’ nuclear watchdog says external power has been restored to Ukraine's Zaporizhzhya atomic power plant. Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, made the statement on November 5, two days after Russian shelling damaged high-voltage lines. Grossi said both external power lines were repaired and reconnected. Grossi also repeated his call for a safety and security zone around the plant: "We can't afford to lose any more time. We must act before it is too late." The Zaporizhzhya plant has been under Russian control for months now, operated by Ukrainian engineers.
