Bodies Of Last Four Missing Russian Miners Recovered


A rescuer working at the gold-mine fire on September 8 (ITAR-TASS) September 10, 2006 -- Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry says all the miners missing in a Siberian gold-mine fire have been accounted for.


The bodies of the last four miners killed the fire have been recovered, raising the death toll to 25.


The fire erupted 100 meters underground on September 7 when 64 miners were at work. Thirty-nine miners escaped the blaze.
