Talks on ending the war in Ukraine are likely to involve Ukraine, Russia, and the United States, a top White House official told an audience at the Munich Security Conference on February 15. Keith Kellogg, the U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, also said the priority is to "ensure the sovereignty, the security of Ukraine."
After more than three years in a Belarus prison, RFE/RL journalist Andrey Kuznechyk says a "weight has been lifted" from his shoulders after being reunited with his family and colleagues. He was released February 12 and taken across the border into Lithuania. But he hasn't forgotten about those who remain imprisoned in his country for political reasons.
